I was given an almost impossible task of decorating and outfitting a 10,000 sq ft luxury rental home on Peninsula Papagayo in 3 months from scratch. I could never have done it without Michael and Anna at PHF! They were an absolute invaluable resource for me.
I needed to buy everything in Costa Rica since I did not have the time to import anything. One of the toughest challenges was a dining table that would seat 10. There were 2 available in-country and Michael and Anna pointed me to them within days. The furniture options were great. Since this rental was competing for business with the Four Seasons on the Peninsula, I had to meet some very high standards for furniture and PHF knew exactly where to send me.
To top it all off, the house was not completed until days before the first rental Christmas week. I started the job on Sept 28th. I did most of my buying in San Jose. PHF was able to warehouse everything I bought, and then delivered and set up the rooms in one day. I had 5 bedrooms, a great room with a bar, kitchen seating area and dining area and a television/game room to furnish. Each bedroom had a small porch that needed outdoor seating, as well as a large covered patio and an outdoor kitchen. They were even nice enough to warehouse some of the bedding and accessories that I bought on my own because I did not have the ability to get it back to Guanacaste myself.
I would work with them again in a flash! Ana and Michael at PHF know what is available, how long things will take to import, and have contacts that I could have never uncovered on my own.
They were really accommodating, very attentive to all my needs and honed in on what needed to be ordered first in order to meet my deadline. I felt their pricing was fair, and the service they provided me was outstanding!
